Ginny is always entertaining. At this point in the recovery from Ike, we actually had a little power thanks to our neighbor John who had a generator. We had an extension cord into the house which we ran the refrigerator with. We didn't lose any food, which was good. Also, that allowed for the preparation of ice, an important part of certain adult beverages. Anyway, Ginny always wants to look good. It is more important to look good than to be good. Fortunately Ginny is both. In keeping with the looking good objective, she needed to do her hair. We had running water so we could take showers. After her shower, she had to do her hair. So we unplugged the refrigerator and plugged in the curling iron. One has to have priorities, you know.
