Necessity is the mother of invention. We needed to figure a way to get some power from John's generator to the people across the street. We figured an unprotected extension cord wouldn't last too long with all the traffic going by, so we improvised this protector and duck taped the cord to the edge. The only problem was that everybody was whizzing through this street and we were afraid they would destroy our invention. So we parked cars on both sides of the street to narrow it and we also parked so the tires of the cars were on top of the bridge to hold it in place. It worked.
Most people bugged out and didn't worry about power until they returned. It has been a long time since the last one and many residents weren't here for that one.
