White-winged Crow

Ponca, Arkansas, Buffalo National River

#47170 This is a white-winged crow. It is a pretty rare mutation of partial albinism apparently from a deficiency of melanin. It is also called "leucitic", I guess that means whitish. This is from the Boxley Valley of the Buffalo National River. I have a blog designed to explain the area and it's photo opportunties. http://arkansaswildlifephotography.com.
