Great White Egret on Boxley Mill Pond
#48741 Great white egret. This morning I got this picture of one as he just took flight. If you are looking for a place for a great photo trip consider NW Arkansas. A lot of different subjects, and it is a low cost vacation place. Visit my blog at
http://arkansaswildlifephotography.com for useful information. Nobody knows about this place.

Whitetail Doe Nursing Twin Fawns
#47936 One of those pictures I had imagined and never really thought I would get. These little guys lifted their mother right off the ground.

Trumpeter Swans on Boxley Valley Mill Pond
The trumpeters are still on the Boxley Valley Mill Pond. This is two of the three. One is posing and looking pretty stupid, but this is a kind of standard trumpeter swan move. I have a website devoted to taking pictures in NW Arkansas and Boxley Valley. Check it out at
http://arkansaswildlifephotography.com . I update it almost daily.

Survivor Doe
#46505 I shot this picture in the backyard. If you look closely at the neck of this deer, you will see scars that I am pretty sure are from a survived mountain lion attack. This is one lucky animal. Mountain lions don't miss often, and they sure don't when they get a deer by the neck. Looks like to me she is healing OK. Our backyard has been transformed into a whitetail nursery this year. We have two does and three fawns back there.
