Patagonia On The Hudson

I've always been amazed at those great penguin shots
from Patagonia, and other far away places. Usually,
the penguins are seen gathered together on the edge
of land, and near the water. I swear I hear Morgan Freeman
narrating whenever I see those shots :-)

I admire the photographers who go so far, and to such
great lengths to get those shots. However, I hate the cold
so I'm not inclined to go anywhere near the poles any time soon.
This is the city guy's tribute to the penguins of Patagonia.

Note: Sorry been very busy as of late. Will catch up
to all in due time.

I agree for your thought... The Patagonia it's a idea, a dream, like all the dreams of far places that the man can wish, like a various life, in the wild nature.
An instinct...
it's beautiful this picture, it remembers also to me the numerous groups of birds on the desert beach of the Atlantic or Pacific

My type of Patagonia :-) Emphasize with lack of desire to freeze for penguin shots.. Dreamy dof!

Lovely shot and use of DOF. It just goes to show we don't have to travel far for great photos, it's all up to the photographers vision. BV

They are Canadian geese, Sam. Such a beautiful tribute to Penguins of the Patagonia. Very classic image of b&w, I love it. V
