Got bored today. Had a set of 58mm diopters,an old Olympus C3000 3mp+ camera,.08X teleconverter for it (which is hardly used, although do use the camera). So held the diopters over the end of the teleconverter in macro mode...seemed OK. How to mount them? Had a 55 to 58mm step ring which fit exactly inside the teleconverter's hood. SUPERGLUE! being very careful of the lens. So now the tele's lens cap fits, no vignette...focuses a lot faster than my 8080 and actually has a pretty good digital zoom...don't think the digital zoom was used on this. This is actually sort of a test shot with all three diopters (+1,+2, +4) all screwed together and only cropped to square (the height is actual) . Kind of liked the gold color in it. So now I can use a polarizer, or any 58mm filter on the end of the teleconverter, since there weren't any threads on it before. Superglue scares me around glass, and have glued my fingers together once or twice...
