Getting Ready
After much research and consideration, we have decided to go the cloth diaper route when our little "Peanut" arrives. My mom cloth diapered both my brother and I 30~ish years ago when cloth diapers were simply a square piece of flannel you pinned together and put a plastic cover over top.
Shortly after finding out I was pregnant, I decided to look into the modern version of cloth diapers to see if it was feasible. Is it EVER!!! You can now get diapers that have the protective outer covering attached to the diaper, and one-size diapers that will fit the child until they potty train. In terms of financial savings, as well as adding less garbage to our landfills, we couldn't say no.
So, here is our "stash" of diapers, 24 in all in a rainbow of colours, as well as the inserts just waiting for "Peanut"'s arrival.
