Besides the roll bar window I also fabricated the grille. The chrome top and bottom bars were made from 1/4" thick 2024 T3 aluminum which was bent around a form using a roller device that I made. The top and bottom were each comprised of two parts, a left and a right. The halves were welded in the center and the parts sent out to chrome. Only the front edge of those bars showed the chrome, the rest was painted a color called "Argent" kind of a dark grayish metallic color that was all the rage in those days.
The darker, thinner bars were again made from aluminum, probably .125" thick and made to interlock.
I believe the parking lights were from a Ford Maverick, but I'm not sure.
