Matilda Elizabeth Stanton, (named after her two grandmothers, Matilda [Munkers] Stanton & Elizabeth Leek [Dobson] Kirkman), was the eighth child of eleven & the third daughter born to, David Atchison Stanton & his wife, Lucinda Asbarine [Kirkman] Stanton on, 06 May 1886, in Buchanan County, Missouri. She never married nor had any children. She died, 13 April 1934 in Faucett, Platte County, Missouri and is buried in the Stanton Family plot in the Faucett Cemetery, Faucett, Buchanan County, Missouri.
