my mum tells me this image of the Ontario looks like it was taken from the Antim side of the Belfast lough just after her commisioning
my father "Scotty" Cartmill served aboard the HMCS Ontario in 1945 as a radar operator
after his tour on the HMS Norfolk
he also served on the HMCS Trois Rivieres and the HMCS Lockport during the war
i'd love more pics

This photo is of HMCS Ontario. Note the twin 4" and quadruple 2pdr mountings on the aft superstructure as well as the lack of hangar structure abreast the forefunnel. Also, please note the Mk VI high-angle directors, whereas Uganda had the earlier Mk IVs.
