The Courtyard of the Hospital in Arles
this former hospital (Hôtel Dieu) is a 16th century building
that has a French style garden in the center courtyard which
was immortalized in Van Gogh's painting "Le Jardin de l'Hotel Dieu".
The garden has been restored to the state it was during van Gogh's time.
This was the hospital in which Van Gogh recovered after cutting off his earlobe.
