Thanks for the comment. I agree 1/50th is a little silly, but I was experimenting with my panning technique. The more head on, the faster the shutter speed, but as you move to the side, the shot has to show motion to be of interest. I would only go over 1/500 for head on, or when multiple cars are coming at me through an apex. In my film days I shot everything at high speeds. From 3/4 view on toward side view, high shutter speeds make for boring shots. I love it when you can see a brake locking or a drive wheel spinning under acceleration. Can't do that with a fast speed.

the shutter speed is far too slow for fast-moving objects. Try 1000th/second.
