Rainbow Falls - sans rainbow. The light was wrong. Need to be there in the AM.

The 80-foot Rainbow Falls, near Hilo, tumble down into a large natural pool flanked by wild ginger.
It's not the highest falls in Hawaii, but its daily discharge is more than 300 million gallons.

Legends say Hina, the mother of Maui, lives in the cave behind the falls.
