Set in the countryside 32km south-east of Suzhou, Zhouzhuang offers a step back in time into what is know as a water town, bisected by canals and stone bridges. Established over 900 years ago, Zhouzhuang has 14 bridges and over 60% of its buildings are from the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.
