Star Spangled Bummer

Gloucestershire

The title sums up my morning.

I spent half the morning trying to get my sons new iMac to work. It arrived yesterday afternoon,
and we set it up in his bedroom last night.
Two hours later he had managed to reset the admin password to another which he promptly forgot, completely buggered up iTunes,
and then upon restart he kept getting kernel caches error messages saying that there were no drivers available, and then a blank screen.

I do not know much about Macs so it took me a few hours to crack the problem and restore the original settings.
I have now got iTunes up and running but can not register with iTune Store which means his iPod wont work at the moment
( It seems you need to have an ITune Store account as part of the iPod set up process) anyway that’s a problem for later..

A bloomin’ dark cloud came over the house this morning, and it felt like midnight.
so I shot these Chilli lights which are hanging in our conservatory.

This is really extraordinary, I have not seen such a great abstract in a long time.
Congratulations!

Actually your picture looks joyful not like a bummer.

Brilliant abstraction to add a lil' cheer to a gloomy day. It'll all work out!

Can't help with the Mac thing, hope it's all working properly soon... love these OOF lights, fabulous!

When I was 10 we bought our first record player. OK, I'll grant you there was only a choice of "I Love You Because" by Jim Reeves to begin with, but we plugged it in, put the needle on the 'disc' and out came his voice!
But I like your lights.

Wow, I thought Mac's whole selling point was plug it in, turn it on, and go. Your experience sounds more difficult than dealing with a Windows machine.
Really cool shot here. Excellent abstract with all the colors and circles.
