The Surveyors

Haresfield Beacon, Gloucestershire

I knew there was a reason for having a 300mm
spotted this couple just looking out across the valley...

A great walk around the beacon, just one problem really…
it's bloomin’ miles to the nearest hostelry to partake in some fine mead..

This is superb. I like the fact that you have not lost her outline against his body. Very striking, yet subtle.

But mead.......? Zider surely.

Lovely light. I like the contrast between the soft landscape tones and the silouette

Lovely shot, love the emphasis on the surveyors rather than the landscape.

Fabulous view. And I'm glad it was worth carrying the heavy 300 up the hill! v.

It reminds me Bilbo Baggins running down the Hill with no handkechief looking for the Dwarves...
I love it a lot: it is one of those shot I would like to be done by me.

A two headed monster from the thumb!
did you scrape the mud of your boots before you set off??

Beautiful image of some of the finest countrside for walking but the lack of ale still makes
the Yorkshire Dales more attractive!!!Voted
