Just outside Khao Yai National Park we visited Hue Nam Sai to see the the amazing evening exodus of about a million Wrinkle-lipped Bats from a cave on the hillside. It was a remarkable experience with bats issuing in a constant stream for about 30 minutes whilst Eurasian Buzzards and Shikras swooped in to take an easy evening meal.

I am reading a book called 'An English Monk in Thailand' and in it Phra Farang describes the area of Khao Nor and the evening flight of the bats. So to see these photo's has really brought the book to life for me. Thank you for sharing these wonderful images.
