This was our first view of an Ibisbill - and almost our first bird in Bhutan. After arriving at Paro airport we set off towards the town but could not resist getting in half an hour's birding just as it was getting dark and in a very cold wind and drizzle. After only 10 minutes we heard the piercing call of the Ibisbill and two birds flew up river and landed close to us. What a great start to the trip !
