Last week, one flew straight into my office through a wide open door. Ironically I had just arrived from a routine bird watching morning expedition in the Harare Botanical Gardens! I closed the open windows and door before it attempted to get back out and caught it quite easily. Amazingly it calmed down, held tight to my finger as it scrambled for balance. Soon we were friends. He landed on a carboard door long enough to allow me to take a few photos, and better still to sketch it! I later released it.
