The Cobbler, Arrochar

For a change, this is not a birding outing. For many years my all consuming passtime was rock climbing and hill walking. Nowadays I just like to do an occasional hillwalk to prove to myself that I can still do it ! The Cobbler is a wonderful hill near the village of Arrochar in Argyll. Although it is not a Munro, its height is 2891 feet, it is a rocky hill with some dramatic cliffs where I did some of my first rock climbs.
