Completed in 1991, this cable-stayed bridge allows for the
large ships to enter the port in Savannah, Georgia.
The new bridge has a 185 ft., (56.4 m.)of vertical
navigational clearance. With a main span of 1100 ft., (335 m.)
and a total length of 1.9 miles, (3.06 km.) for traffic
over the Savannah River with great beauty and style.
