Some of the richest Autumn colours I have seen are around the lake district especially on the banks of its many streams. This particular spot has a multitude of different trees all of which present a fine display of colour. The connecting stone bridge with its sombre colours makes a nice counterpoint and the person on the bridge staring at the water lazily spiralling beneath completes the melancholy of Autumn.
