Stone Town

Minerva, Rousillon, France

This delightful French town on the outskirts of Carcassonne near the village of Siran is bounded by a steep gorge. Minerva is a stunning place but I found it particularly attractive after sunset when the blue of twilight combined with the tungsten lights of the stone houses that spilled down the side of the gorge. In this particular shot I just concentrated my attention on the stacked houses with their lovely pantile roof tops.
