Craggy Shores

Achmelvick Bay, Sutherland, Scotland

I do so love soft light and this is some of the gentlest directional light I have experienced for a very long time. The rocks on the left side of the frame with the reddish tinge have just barely been kissed by the last flickering remnants of the setting sun at Achmelvick bay. The beach itself is of such exquisite beauty, pure white coral sand, it makes the Carribean look ordinary. No palm trees here though.
