Blue Bands of Green

Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Scotland.

In a car park high up on Rannoch moor beneath an azure blue winter sky i found a frozen over puddle which had been fractured and had a blaze of green spear grass growing through it. I was very taken with the colours and patterns. It is odd to think that either side of this puddle were parked cars dripping muddy slush.

Only a really good photographer has an eye for what is invisible to the average passerby...what a beautiful array of color, lines and life.

Wow, this is awesome. It's almost unreal. If you first look at the top and then scan down there is a odd trick of perspective that occurs. It almost looks like you photoshopped the top half of the image from a macro shot of something. Fantastic.
