A lonely isolated castle on a grassy plinth at the southern end of Loch Assynt. The sky was delightful, the foreground less so. I dedicated 80% of the picture to the sky and let the wee castle feel small within this giant landscape. It was the differential lighting that allowed the castle to be so pleasantly revealed against the dark wedge of hill behind it and it was a devil of a job finding a point where I could keep the lit castle within the boundaries of the hill behind.
