There were two sessions undertaken here and the late afternoon proved easily the best with fleeting patches of light migrating across the tilled soil in front of the red and white striped Tarbert Ness lighthouse which would occasionally be struck by that same wave of light and cause it to flare into life like a newly struck match. The thunderously dark and ominous sky provided suitably theatrical light. Then when you thought it couldn't get any better, it did. The changing light spooked the geese and they flew off passing in a silhouetted skein above the lighthouse. A very rapid increase in ISO choice ensued.
