Anderdalan, Senja, Norway
These curious white pyramids high up in the Anderdalan National Park in Senja, Norway are formed well above the treeline amongst endless snow fields of unfathomable depth. The cause is high velocity winds unhindered by obstructions they whistle across the valleys and cause wind shadows in the snow fields with their repeating shapes appearing like snow pyramids.
