As soon as I saw those mountains my first and last thought was how much they looked like the ears of a cat. One hiding itself from view ready to pounce on some poor unsuspecting mouse. The whiskers are those wispy wee trees on the foreground snow plain and I was treated to a mesmerisingly beautiful cloud lined sky turning golden in the late afternoon light. It was indeed the cat's whiskers.
