This little beach at the end of Bergsbotn in Senja happens to point in just the right direction for a Spring sunset but of course when you are a few hundred miles inside the arctic circle even in Spring there is likely to be more than a little snow around. I found this Daliesque shape of a meandering stream almost inundated with snow punctuated by grasses and reeds as it meandered it's way to the sea. A stunning winter sunset proved the icing on the cake and I waited until the last possible moment to shoot to minimise flare and contrast. Very very pleased am I.
