A glorious autumn afternoon in Glen Affric saw me walking down the private access road toward Glen Affric lodge. I rounded a bend and there it was pleasingly positioned below a small conifer ridge at the end of a twisting single track road. I considered my options and finally chose a lofty view to keep the ridge of pine trees below a mountain ridge that I could see beyond. Everything just sort of fell into place and all I needed then was the best sky possible to complement the scene.
