Suilven Gold

Loch Druim Suardalain, Assynt, Scotland

This gorgeous wee lochan is quite well hidden but close to Loch Inver in Assynt. It features both Suilven and Canisp two instantly recognisable peaks, the former from an unusual angle that shows Suilven sticking up like a thumb or a minature Sugar Loaf mountain above a reed bed that turns to gold in late October evening light.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and fine art cards are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT
