A remote beach in Sutherland proved very productive in a relatively confined area. One of the group I was with showed me one of his images of some grey sedimentary sandstone which struck me as having the appearance of a layered mountain range shot at twilight in soft misty light. The grey stone was stained blue by a vivid autumnal sky so I constructed this minature version of a grand scenic out of the overlapping shapes and stone valley floor. Hope you enjoy it.
