I wouldn't normally make my uploads this large but this truly benefits from the extra detail apparent.
Beneath a ridiculously blue late autumn sky I used the reflected light to my advantage as it's cast stained the grey folds of layered stone on the shore line. I was intrigued by the patterns and swirls of rock and found it made a very satisfying composition which later spawned a few pleasing variations on a theme.
Please view LARGE...it needs the detail.
