Below Zero

Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Scotland

A very fine winter morning flecked by high dappled cloud and deep frozen such that the rocks are solidly embedded in thick ice tinged blue by the overhead sky. Ice frosted grasses are crisply outlined and the snow crusted Black Mount hills beyond make a very fine backdrop the warm tinge of red grass showing through on the lower slopes.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and the 2014 Transient Light Calendars are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT

Very nice image but your horizon needs rotation down to the right.
