I was enchanted by this delicious airy and slightly surreal scene of the mountains of Skye floating in a blue haze above their own reflection. The opposing warm hues created by the giant undulating pillows of red sand on Applecross beach is neatly separated by the incoming tide which fills the broad channels between which I liken to a gigantic zebra crossing but with red stripes as opposed to black. All was perfect but perhaps the icing on the cake is the addition of two folk strolling down on the beach dwarfed by the colossal scale of the scene.
