A really gorgeous beach backed by the Inverpolly peaks of Stac Pollaidh, Cul Mor and Coigach. None of them are particularly high but they have great charisma. Achnahaird bay has a wonderful and expansive beach with large areas that form sand dunes and occasionally after a considerable downpour small isolated pockets of shallow water collect to create these dune pools.
