Gorgeous caramel coloured light briefly lit up Castle Stalker and its satelite islands which were then duly reflected in the still and rising tide seeping inexorably towards me as the sun made a last dash for the horizon. I waded out as deep as my wellington boots would permit to clear away as much foreshore weed as I could such that the completed reflection of the castle became visible and more or less uninterrupted. All went well until I stupidly popped my light meter on a rock and wandered off to a new position.
