A brilliant stripe of golden sunlight painted itself on a sandbank cut by a meandering channel of freshwater draining itself in the sea at Flakstad beach. I managed to capture it at its most vivid with the complementary colours from the blue sky reflected on wet striated sand. The snow dusted peak beyond with associated cloud completed an awesome moment in Lofoten.
