Crimson Quiraing

Quiraing, Skye, Scotland

A crimson strip of light provided a brief but exciting moment of morning colour at sunrise in the Trotternish. Beneath, a carpet of verdant green velvet cloth draped itself over the weird and wonderful shapes of the cliffs overlooking Staffin and the Minch beyond. I live for these magnificent and brief moments of transient light.

It looks dangerously volcanic with that swaith of red. Very nicely done .. and on film I note!
