The salt flats at the end of Traigh Scarasta is a piece of natural art work. The natural channels and curious island plates of salt marsh make a fantastic foreground. Although I have shot these before on this occasion some exceptionally dim sheep waded across to the furthest plate and began to graze. they provided a marvellous sense of scale so I waited for every sheep to separate from its neighbour and timed it with the appearance of the sun and a decent cloud structure.
