Mellon Udrigle, Laide, Scotland

Wandering around Mellon Udrigle a fabulous west coast of Scotland beach always seems to spawn images that appeal to me. As I had already taken a good many shots of breaking waves I turned my attention to the outflow of a meandering peat stream which had cut an unblemished channel through the soft sand. The mixture of pepper dusted red sand and the coffee coloured channel proved a fascinating draw one which I knew my particular choice of film would handle with great aplomb.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and fine art cards are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT
