I found these spherical balls of rock embedded in the sand at Moeraki completely fascinating but to be honest the light in the middle of the day whilst fairly overcast was really rather bland so straight away I started looking for something that would shout form and line that would shine in magnificent mono. Eventually I came up with this mix of curved parallel lines in sea, sand and stone whilst trying to provide just enough of the distinctively shaped stones to give that all important sense of place.
