I just love stopping at Tressirnish on the east coast of Skye and looking out over the cliffs towards the outline of the Cuillin across the Minch. At certain times of the year and in the right weather conditions the sky breaks up and beams of light burst through like the search lights of some massive spaceship about to land. Not on this occasion though, the sky was too thick but had delightful texture and body in the pre-dawn twilight.
