Duffus Graphics 2

Duffus castle, Moray, Scotland

A mediterranean blue sky in Scotland now that's a rarity. I took full advantage of what is usually considered a photographers worst nightmare to create this highly graphic scene. The colours on that summer morning were genuinely as electric as you see depicted here. The hard shadows serve to contribute to the graphic nature of this scene. Sometimes its a great pleasure to work on days that lift the spirit so.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and the 2011 Transient Light Calendars are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT

Other-worldly.
I once visited Scotland in a June which replicated this strange and unusual weather.
The next time it was all moody clouds, mist and rain.
Equally wonderful both times.

Fabulous simplicity in this capture. Green and blue are great, plus a wonderful castle.
