Flat Broke

Findhorn, Moray, Scotland

It was a beautiful calm late summer evening several minutes after the sun had finally set when my favourite colour combination of pink and twilight blue materialised at the turn of low tide. The estuary at the mouth of the river Findhorn is very flat and the sea returns at great speed but on this occasion it did so with great stealth the sea creeping upwards enveloping these tiny sand islets until all at once all were submerged.

NEW!! Photographic workshops and masterclasses and the 2011 Transient Light Calendars are now available at TRANSIENT LIGHT
