End of Days

Hopeman, Moray, Scotland

I am convinced that one day this great lump of green brushed, part submerged rock will haul itself out of the sandy beach and lumber dripping and sodden into the sea whence it most assuredly had come from. It is a very organic weathered collection of rocks that has seen countless tidal movements flow past it slowly dissolving its outline into the sand. During the summer months the sun sets almost directly in line with the green fingers that stretch out towards it but on this occasion it was the golden sparkle of light which drew my attention on the wet seaweed and sand together with the reflected blue of twilight. It really was a shortlived and memorable moment.

This is a re-scan with my renovated scanner and the result is vastly superior.
