Great soft fluffy white pillows of powder fine snow mould themselves over grass tussocks, twigs and branches softly filling in the hollows and clefts to produce a pristine unblemished world save for the odd snow hare camouflaged against pure white snow. For a photographer this is the stuff of dreams and we had nearly a week of it with temperatures rarely exceeding minus ten.
