The coast is unique in that it presents a new landscape for your lens at the change of every new tide. The old is scoured clean of foot prints and debris and replaced by a new palette unblemished and perfect save for a bit of seaweed. Dawn coincided with a falling tide and I found this little piece of artistic perfection staring straight back at me. The palette of colours from bronze of the meandering peat stream, through red speckled sandy beach, to turquoise water beneath a typically Scottish violet sky and indigo mountains was exquisite. Moments like this make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up like static electricity.
