Little Ray of Sunshine

Old Man of Storr, Skye, Scotland

Well of course I had been in position perched atop the cliffs overlooking this incredible formation of basaltic granite rock pinnacles for over an hour and sunrise had come and gone with satisfactory intensity. Yet this place has such magnetism that you stay to see what else this stunning vista has to offer and for a few seconds I was blessed with a razor thin sliver of stunning lemon sunlight which fleetingly scurried across the spires. I took my one chance and this is the very pleasing result.
